Meet Johnny Lynum
Johnny Lynum is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force where he’s been serving on active duty for just over 16 years. Johnny is also the Founder of Operation Invest, a company he launched in 2015 that helps veterans and other busy professionals invest in real estate, generate passive income, and achieve financial freedom. Operation Invest focuses on acquiring, renovating and selling residential and multi-family properties in regions across the southeastern United States. Johnny is not only helping others achieve financial freedom, but his business is also transforming and revitalizing communities ravaged by Hurricane Michael in 2018 through the acquisition and restoration of thousands of storm-damaged properties.
When Johnny faced a tight deadline with his most recent deal nicknamed Operation Magic City in Birmingham, Alabama, the Academy Fund stepped in and helped make it possible. In working with the Academy Fund, Johnny not only found the capital he needed within his deadline, but he also found a partner in the process:
