As lending increases, the Academy Fund reflects on a growing trend in real estate development occurring in the Southeastern United States. We have financed deals in Texas, Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina in a variety of asset classes including single-family homes, duplex units, commercial retail spaces, and raw land for new builds and fix and flips.
That’s not all.
In the summer of 2021, the Academy Fund loaned $2.4M to Marine Corps veteran real estate operator Buddy Rushing and his team of investors. The result? Buddy acquired twenty-two cash-flowing, single-family rental properties in Florida and shared the wealth with other military veterans and family members in the process:
